Autumn Basket

Hello friends, I am back with another Jennifer Nilsson Art Design creation. But first, I have a question for you. Have you thought of, or tried, adding a digi image into your scrapbooking layouts? That's exactly the challenge I gave myself because I had always thought of digi images for cards only and I think many of us think so, but I think I can prove that wrong!

I chose to use Jennifer Nilsson's Autumn Basket Girl because it's cute fall look and the fall in the air, nowadays.

I colored in the image with Copics and cut it off set to give it interest. I added a couple pictures of my daughter at a pumpkin patch, doily's, a chipboard flourish, flowers and a journaling arrow.

Adding a digi image to a layout is easy and adds a nice personal touch to any layout! I hope you try it!

Thank you for visiting and I hope you come back again soon for another Jennifer Nilsson Art Design project post!

Drops of Love

Hello crafting friends, how is your crafting weekend so far? Mine is far to busy with non-crafting "important" things like laundry, cleaning and cooking. As soon as they are done, I'll be able to sit down with my crafty stuff. I'm looking forward to it!

Until then I have an inspiration card I recently made to show off one of Jennifer Nilsson's digi stamps called Drops of Love
I colored in my image with Copics, and used some pretty peachy polka dotted paper and deep peach colored cardstock. After creating my layout I used a doily, some pearls and paper embellishment elements to create the decorative elements on my card.

Thank you for visiting my blog for some creative inspiration! I'll see you in a couple days for another creative card using Jennifer Nilsson's Art!

Jennifer Nilsson Designs

Hello and good morning crafting friends, I have some great news I am excited to share! I accepted a position on Jennifer Nilsson's Digital Arts design team! She has amazing designs and an amazing team of talented ladies on it! I am honored to be on the team with each one of them.

Jennifer has many, many, cute designs to choose from and that made it difficult to chose just one to debut on my blog. But because I just think snowmen are cute, I decided to use the Gift of Love snowman from her many designs.

I decided to color the image in tones of blues and teals, in my take on a "sepia" tone look. Instead of using browns and neutrals, I used blues in my image, ribbon, cardstock, and papers.

There are many ways to find Jennifer's art and be inspired by the team! You can follow us on Facebook, Pinterest, and her blog page for many ways to hear about news, sales, tutorials, fun challenges, and so much more! Don't forget to also sign up for her newsletter! Every newsletter she sends out is chock full ideas, challenges, news and freebies! You can find a sign up link for her news letter on her blog and Facebook group.

On The Hop

Hi everyone! Are you ready for something a little different today? Well the Flourishes team decided that every Friday, we are all going to create a hop for you to join us as we offer you inspiration, tips, ideas, and virtual card eye candy for you to enjoy as you hop through! I'd say that's a pretty fantastic start your weekends!

So without further ado, here is my card. Our team leader, Vicki Dutcher, challenged us to use Gold on our creations this week, so that's what I did.

I stamped out A Mother's Hug sentiment on Flourishes Classic White cardstock, and heat embossed it in gold. Then I used various Spellbinders to create frames to frame the sentiment beautifully. I added metallic gold pearls in various places to re-emphasize the gold theme. I added the Maya Arts Taupe silk ribbon as an accent, under the sentiment label.

I hope I didn't go too overboard with the gold, but I love how it turned out!! I absolutely love mixing and combining Spellbinders dies to create lovely windows and creations like this.

Take a look to see what the other DT members have created with the challenge to use Gold on their cards and creations.

Amanda Havon - you are here!

Happy crafting everyone, I'll see you next Friday on the hop, where the theme is "Add Some Sparkle"!
