Good morning Flourishes friends! Did you have a nice Thanksgiving? Are you ready for Christmas? It's right around the corner and to get ready for it, our hostess Cindy is challenging us to create a card with : Silver or Gold!
I love to decorate with both colors for Christmas, but I decided to use Gold, for my card color focus.
I used Flourishes "Poinsettia and Pine" image with Flourishes "Paperwhites" sentiment, stamped onto Flourishes Classic White cardstock in gold ink. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the Poinsettia and Pine cut file shape, that I stamped on to and popped up on pop dots. Then I used a punch with a few diecuts, ribbon, a paper doily, and a metallic gold design paper to create and finish my card.
Good morning and welcome back to another Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge! :) This week Broni is our challenge hostess and she is challenging us to create: A Mini Card! All you need to do is create a card that is 3x4 or less! These are always a fun and easy challenge to create!
I used Flourishes "Paperwhites" stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa onto Flourishes Classic Ivory Cardstock, sponged all around with Tea Dye Distress Ink. I used the paper from Flourishes new September's 123 Kit. I added the red ribbon, silver cording and the snowflake charm, also from the September 123 Kit.
The completed size of my card measures out to be 4 x 3 1/18.
All this month I will be using Flourishes September 123 Create Kit. This kit is a Christmas themed kit and perfect for any cards you will make this year. I love it and it includes a Bo Bunny paper pad, two kinds of ribbon (red and green), silver cording and a green trim, green rhinestones, snowflake charms, and Maya Road Vintage Kraft Flag Pins!! What a great excuse to start on your Christmas cards, now instead of waiting until the fall, which I have been known to do. This week I made two cards. I just love the "Rejoice" Christmas image, don't you? And since Flourishes is having a Christmas in July sale, this is a perfect time to pick it up! And I love an all white card, so I created a crisp white Christmas card too, with the "Paperwhites" set.
For my first card I used Flourishes "Rejoice" Christmas set that I watercolored in with the following Flourishes Letraset Aqua Markers: Spring Green, Scarlet, Raspberry, and Rose Carmine. I added some beautiful "Ivory Scalloped Lace Trim" lace and a Flourishes Stick Pin that I colored in with my R29 Copic marker, pinned to my bow.
For my second Christmas card, I used the sentiment from Flourishes "Paperwhites" that I stamped on Flourishes Classic White paper. For my Spellbinder layers I used "Fancy Tags Three" on top of Spellbinders Labels #18, placed on top of a Spellbinder frame, then I added some pearls to everything.
