Hello and welcome to Flourishes Friday Favorites! Today is my first day working with the Senior DT and I am pretty excited about it! I've dreamed of being on the senior team ever since I picked up a Flourishes stamp. So today is a dream come true, for me!
Let's get started shall we? Today we get to show off one of our favorite stamp sets and show it off. I chose to use
Humming Along.
I really love that pretty little humming bird! I stamped it in with
Memento Rich Cocoa Ink,colored it in with my Copics and fussy cut it out and popped it up on popdots on to my patterned paper. I cut a small window out so you could see the sentiment from
Humming Along that I stamped out on
Flourishes Classic Ivory cardstock, then I matted the card from behind in Flourishes
Color Made Easy Rich Browns and adhered it with
Scor-Tape. To embellish the card I added some beautiful
Ivory Guipure Lace, that I tied a pretty double bow in
Ivory Silk. To finish the card I added a
Dresden Heirloom Button and two
Leaf Trinket Pins for some elegant touches.
