Release Week Noontime Challenges: Go Natural!

Good afternoon and welcome to Flourishes Release Week Noontime Challenge: Go Natural!

Because this is a Go Natural challenge I kept everything extremely minimal and let the image itself shine.
I used Flourishes new "Naturally Merry" set  stamped on Flourishes Classic White Cardstock and colored in with Copics. The patterned papers are from Flourishes "Viola" 123 Kit and I used a Kraft cardstock accent.

I used the following Copic Collections:

This month I am showing off Flourishes October 123 Kit called "Viola" which is chock full of goodies! Keep an eye out for cards with the "Viola" kit all this month!

Flourishes Noon Time: Bold & Beautiful Challenge

Good afternoon, it is time for Day 1 of the July Release Noon Time challenges! This challenge is all about vibrant color - you pick the color just make sure it's bold and beautiful!

I am using Flourishes new "Passion Flower" set and I love it! I had never seen a Passion Flower before and after doing an image search, I found out that they really are bold!

As you can see, they are so pretty and unique, it was really freeing just to color them in so whimsically. Anything goes, with this flower! :)

I stamped the "Passion Flower" on a Spellbinders "Romantic Rectangles" diecut, then watercolored it in. I kept my card simple so the flowers would shine.I used the following Copic Collections:

Welcome back to Flourishes Release Week Noontime Challenge Day 2: Arts and Letters!

This challenge is a simple one -- make art out of... Letters! Whether it's a simple monogram, or a decorative word to share - the highlight of this card or creation has to be all about letters!
If you upload to SCS, please use the keyword FLLCJUNERW2. All entries need to be in by June 15th at 5PM EST in order to be in the running to win our June release! For more information and how to play along with us, please visit the Flourishes Blog.
I used Flourishes "Letters In Blossom" that I stamped with Memento "Rich Cocoa" ink onto Flourishes Classic White cardstock, that I placed on a Spellbinders "Damask Motif" diecut. I added a large lace doily, ribbon, and a few paper punched borders and pearls, to highlight my Flourishes Monogrammed letter.

For the card, I used Flourishes "Summer Blossoms" stamped in Memento "Rich Cocoa" on to Flourishes Classic White Cardstock with a wine colored cardstock layered under it.
I used the following Copic Sketch Collections to color my card in:

Release Week Noon Challenge: Just Pop It!!

Welcome to June's Day One of Flourishes Release Week's Noontime Challenge! Today we are challenging you to: Pop It!

This challenge is all about adding dimension to your card or creation. Simply pop up an image on your card and you'll be in the running. What do we mean by giving your card pop? Isolate an area of your card and add dimension by cutting and popping up part of your image. For more information and how to play along, please visit the Flourishes Blog.
If you upload to SCS, please use the keyword FLLCJUNERW1. All entries must be in by Friday, June 15th to be in the running. The winner of this challenge gets Flourishes entire release for June!

I used Flourishes peaches image from the "Peaches and Cherries" set and the sentiment from "Seeds of Friendship". I colored my image in with watercolors, cut it out with a craft knife then popped it up on popdots. For the matting paper, I used Flourishes "Classic Ivory" cardstock, added some patterned paper, paper lace doily, a round die cut and some pearls to finish my card.
( I apologize for the odd reflective look on my leaves, I had to take the picture outside; so the light is reflecting off of them).

Please check out the rest of the Flourishes design team for more Noon Time "Pop It" inspirations! Remember, if you play along you will be in the running to win the entire June Release!  Good Luck! :)

Flourishes Release Week Noon Time Challenge

Flourishes Release Week Day 2 Noon Time Challenge is up and running!! The challenge is a color challenge: Light Green, Deep Rose & Tan.
If you play along you could win the entire December Release from Flourishes! You can find out all the details and more right HERE on their blog.

I am squeaking under the deadline wire, for this challenge, but I'm here! :)

I used Flourishes "Berry Sweet" stamp set that I colored in with Tombows and cut out with a large Spellbinder Oval and Scalloped Oval. I used papers from DCWV "Rustic" paper pack and My Mind's Eye Lost & Found. The lacy diecut border is from MFT dies, and the pearls and ribbon are from my LSS.
I ruffled up the diecut borders to help them stand out and added some pearls. This is the side view to show the side angle of the ruffled "lace" border.

I love, love the challenge colors, but I did struggle trying to figure out what stamp set to use! LOL! But I have to admit, it's been far too long since I have used this particular raspberry image, and I've fallen back in love with it! It paints up so beautifully I can't help but move it back up to my favorite stamp position :)
